We’re Seth, Joel and David, founding partners of Purposeful Growth: we have more than 80 years’ combined experience scaling and transforming organisations through data and product-led growth.

SETH RICHARDSON
Seth is a seasoned executive and technologist with a solid track record in founding, building and scaling successful businesses in the AdTech and digital space.
Operating at board and executive levels, he embodies a rare blend of both technical and business expertise which enables him to spot fresh opportunities and accelerate growth.
Seth has supported a range of businesses and charities with their product and data requirements through challenging periods of change and growth. He is an early investor in sustainable businesses within the data science/AI sector, whilst also supporting organisations that tackle food poverty and give kids better access to nature.
JOEL BAYNES
Joel is an experienced senior digital leader and strategic board advisor. Specialising in technology-led start-ups and scale-ups, Joel brings together people, processes and technology to steer commercially focused platforms towards growth.
Joel is a keen builder of business partnerships and has particular expertise in bringing together top level leadership teams. He has operated at C-suite and board level in the sectors of climate technology, membership platforms, marketing technology and data science.
He is also a Non Executive Director helping with organisational design, strategy and technology at Sussex Prisoners’ Families, a social impact community interest company dedicated to supporting families with a loved one in the Criminal Justice system.
Joel has led B Corp certification, supported venture capitalist, seed and crowdfunding rounds, led product launches and delivered multiple revenue and team growth.

David McNally
David is an experienced entrepreneurial leader with a track record of creating and launching successful products and services in information technology, media and communications.
He has has completed multiple fundraising rounds and the sale of two businesses delivering a full exit for the founders.
David's background is in IT with over 17 years at board level with experience serving as Chair, CEO and CTO. He specialises in Commercial and technology strategy, innovation, value creation, building high performing teams, delivering change and realising value through M&A
